2 more Sleeps!!!

Yep, counting them down,( who says only kids count down sleeps, we colour in too, like 5 year olds!LOL)  leaving here early Friday morning for a girls weekend away, checking out scrapbooking shops, pet shops ( for Marise & I ) , the cheesecake shop( Yummy!) and SENZ of course !! Good thing we're taking Denise's van....

 Saturday night we'll be relaxing with a bottle of Baileys, watching the Twilight DVD, and rummaging through all the goodies we've bought.

This is another card I did for the Crafty Tart card swap, using Kaisercraft papers, Su card and ribbon, my cute new puddy tat from Magnolia (would've 3D'd it but the envelope was huge enough already, sending off 12 cards!) . 

Need some sleep!

Gemma goes home today..hope Riley settles tonight! Last night the little toad kept whining for her. Tried moving him to another room, he got louder, took him out to the shed, he screeched!LOL! Ended up that I moved into the spare room with ALL the dogs and we all settled , till the cat tried to sleep on my chest. He's a big heavy boy, all 6.6kg, I couldn't breathe, so had to chuck him out of the room.  Riley was quite happy to snuggle, as long as Gemma was there too! Aargh!!

 Next card for the swap is another Tilda, on random paper from my leftover pieces.  The card and filigree brads are SU

Number Two

Next card for the crafty tart card swap is one using one of my new Tildas ( isn't she cute?) and kaisercraft Duchess papers. Coloured with copics, random flowers and SU cardstock. Dewdrops added also. 

Riley has been a busy boy, he's worn out now!So am I from supervising...don't think I'll get into dog breeding, too much to worry about!

Liquorice Allsorts!!!

Good grief...I like liquorice allsorts occasionally but didn't mean my card to look like one!LOL!   Thought I'd try Kimmi's sketch for stampin for the weekend, used my new BG June bug paper. Hmmm. Maybe too much black....

  I also discovered something quite useful when I was colouring my yellow flower with copics. DON'T handle your damp flowers when you have cuts on your fingers! Ouch! Alcohol stings!

Card is SU, sentiment is SU, brads are BG, cut the circles with nesties. Image is a magnolia, I think she's pretty cute.

 We have Gav's daughter Hazel and her friend Sophie here from Auckland for a few days. Gee, I feel like a dwarf, Haze is SOOOOOOO tall!LOL.  Gav has taken them up the mountain to slide in some snow. I decided to hibernate for the day.

Some Sugar

This weeks challenge on A Spoonful of Sugar is a sketch by MichelleO.  Found these cool bronze flower thingies on the net so had to have a go making something with them! My papers are a mix of all sorts including MME , K & Co (which I really didn't want to cut up!) , and Kaisercraft, but the image is a Magnolia courtesy of Denise ( Thanks!) coloured with copics. The cardstock, ribbon and sentiment are SU.

Riley's a BIG boy now!

Yay! Riley graduated on Monday night, he now gets to train with the real agility dogs! He was rechristened " The GingaRoo" as he has a wee bit of spring in him!!!! and he's a ginga and he is an Aussie by birth! Perhaps I should give him his long overdue haircut so he'll be able to see where he is going now!

Finished a card last night for the Friday Sketchers challenge using a magnolia image courtesy of Denise. Thanks Denise! Now I have some Mags to play with! .... doesn't feel finished somehow but it's one of those ones you could play with endlessly till you were happy....anyway, time to move on! She is coloured with SU inks and copics and finished with some crystal effects.
