Last One

Well, this is my last post as a Karens Doodles UK designer and I believe there are changes in the air for this challenge.  I've had a great time playing with Karens brilliant digi images but time for a change now.
The challenge this week is a combined one, white on white with only colour on your image. I LOVE this theme! It's great for winter scenes of course and so for my last card I had to find a winter doggie..LOL!  So here is " Skating fun" from Karens Doodles. I've used a cuttlebug embossing folder, MS icicle punch, Spellbinders icicles, lots of Rock Candy Distres Stickles and ribbon & brad from my stash.
So why not pop on over to Karens Doodles UK challenge and check out what our DT have done and join in the challenge!

The ribbon and cardstock is SU, flowers are from my stash, border punch is EK success and the sentiment is computer generated.

Get your scissors out people! For Isabellas challenge this week its time to 3D, paper tole, cut it out, whatever you like to call it!  And what's best of all, Isabella is having a sale for the day so get your images now!
I had to use the suitcase image from Isabellas Sketchbook, its been calling to me since I saw it! And perfect for layering. I printed and coloured the image twice and though the photo doesn't show it all that well , I've layered the two bottom suitcases over the first image.
The paper I have used is Kaisercraft Up & Away, and the little tags I've cut from a sheet of the paper.

Why don't you head on over to our challenge blog and see what my mega-talented teamies have dreamed up this week! And join in our challenge while you're at it, there are some gorgeous digis to be won!

I've coloured the silly dragon who really hasn't figured out how to blow out candles, with copics, and a few stickles thrown around, and some liquid puff paint on the cake.

Wedding Bells

Noooo!!  Don't be silly, its not me!! Heehee!  I've been asked to me a wedding card for a friend and I've never made one before so I'm going to spend some time making a few variations for her to choose from. This is the very first one and  I've used a stamp from  Lily of the Valley for the image, with Kaisercraft               Le Chateau papers. The lace and flowers I bought from Wild orchid crafts , the sentiment and cardstock  is SU . Pearls are Prima.
I've coloured the image with copics then gone over her dress with oyster Twinkling H2O for a nice sheen , which doesn't show in the photo unfortunately. I've used antigue linen distress stickles on the flowers also.

Punch it!

Right , its Isabellas challenge time and its time to pull out your punches, you know the ones you bought and have hardly used...well, maybe that's me! I'm sure I'm not the only one who HAS to have something new, then it doesn't always get used as much as it should... shhh don't tell the other half.

This image is " Saturday in the Garden" from Isabella's Sketchbook and its such a versatile image  for all sorts of cards.  I've used  K & Co Wild raspberry paper, EK success border punch and Retro flower punches . I've coloured with copics, added some dew drops, prima bling, and a crochet lace circle I bought ages ago.

Ok, so easy to make a square card so this week the challenge at Karens Doodles UK is to make a different shape card. I went for a round easel card and had fun with this!  I've used Kaisercraft Bella paper, and Bigsby Santa List from Karens Doodles.

Donkey Smiles

I've made this card for the " Kickin It For Michelle" Card drive on A Spoonful of sugar.  Michelle Oatman had a nasty accident a few weeks ago and lost an eye.  Her and her husband raise miniature donkeys so several designers have created donkey freebies for you to download to make a card to cheer Michelle up. This donkey is by Meljens designs and the sentiment is a freebie by Ann Vento at Raindropecho ( Whimsy Stamps) .
I bought this paper on Friday, I love MME paper!  The flower and leaves are from my stash, the cardstock is SU Kiwi Kiss.  And we have sunshine today, a beautiful winters day after a heavy frost this morning which the goldens had a good roll around in! The poodles , needless to say, kept their little paws away from the cold crunchy grass!

Its holiday time for many of you bloggers so our theme this week for Isabella's challenge is ANYTHING GOES!
I've used a new image from Isabella, its called " Flower Song" and you can purchase it here at Isabellas.

Clean & Simple?

The challenge this week at Karens Doodles UK is to create a card and keep it clean & simple...almost impossible for me! This is about as clean & simple as I can get! LOL!  I had to use this dog, as soon as I saw it I had to have it. Looks like Brodie! Isn't it cute? Its called " Dog Day afternoon" and is available from Karens Doodles.

The paper is Basic Grey " Max & Whiskers" and I love the colours of this range.  The bones and sentiment are  from my extensive "doggie stash" , no idea where they came from! I've coloured with copics and used crystal effects on the sunglasses and glass.
