Brodie Strikes Again!

Brodie really is so cute, you can't be mad at him but poor piggy has been gutted ! Yes, the fluff was everywhere!! Hmmm.... he seems to like his soft toys minus any substance ie gutless!

And here he is on the poodle bed....well kind of....the lump is too big  to fit of course!Lets just hope he doesn't decide to unstuff the dog beds too!

Oh dear!

My attempt for Magnolia Downunder has turned out a bit....ORANGE!  Didn't mean it to be quite so ORANGE! And the wings kinda changed colour after I covered them with crystal effects and they're very YELLOW/ORANGE! Oh well....the challenge was a sketch and to include girly and ORANGE. Guess I've done that......

Overgrown Puppy

Don't know if Brodie thinks he's a puppy or a poodle or what! Here he is trying to claim a poodle bed (at least he's not lying on top of it this time), and watching TV on Gav's lap! Mr Elegance !

Happy with this!

I like this card...the papers ( K & Co Wild Raspberry)  are some of my favs and haven't ever used this High Hopes stamp before but its a cutie!( Sigh, I have a lot of uninked rubber already and am expecting more soon!!!!)
I followed a great sketch for Create 4 Fun and  thought I could enter this in this weeks Cupcake Craft challenge which is Four legged and furry! And of course High Hopes Stamp challenge which is a valentine theme...well this is as close as I'll ever get to making a valentine card! LOL! The theme for By the Cute & Girly is love. What says love better than a girl and her dog!

Freestyle

Oh so easy ! Made this card the other night, and have been waiting for a challenge to fit and freestyle means anything goes! Wahoo! Perfect for A Spoonful of sugar challenge.
The image is a Sassy Cheryl , paper is BG and I've punched flowers with retro punches.

Moo!

Haven't used this Sugar Nellie stamp before, tho have had it a looooong time! LOL!  I really need to use some of my neglected rubber...and then there's all the digis I've bought that haven't seen the light of day....Tracy, you're a bad influence! LOL!

This card is for the Basic Grey challenge and I've used my new Origins paper pad. The sentiment is computer generated. Coloured with copics, distressed with Frayed burlap. Flowers are Buzz & Bloom...I think!

Brodie went to his first obedience class last night, well, he went to get used to being there with all the other dogs. Luckily it was very hot and he tired quite quickly so we settled quickly as well. He likes all the extra attention he gets from everyone and their dogs!

On a Roll!

Wow! Five days in a row, must be a record for me! LOL! Its back to work tomorrow for 4 days so we'll come to a halt I think! This card is for 2 challenges:
Copic Colour: Lime Green G21,Smoky Blue B45 & Rose Red R85
Quixotic Challenges: Ink up an old stamp.

This Sugar Nellie is one of the first I ever purchased and she's been hiding away for a long time. The flowers are stamped too, with Stichels stamps, haven't used them in a long time either!

Cute doggies!

This is my first attempt at an entry for The Character Cafe and I just love this digi image of theirs! Their challenge this week was to make a 3D item, and they even provided the template if you needed one! I've used scraps of Cosmo Cricket on this . Now I just need to fill it with dog treats!
Thought I might also enter this in Just Us girls challenge which is to use a Lauren Meader template, which this is, and its free!!

Green & Lilac

Ok, its a bit more purple than lilac! The challenge over at DewDrop Craftz is to create a card using green & lilac. I've used my yummy prima papers and one of the Dew drop images. Lots of colouring, and it was fun! I usually like "CUTE" images but these ones are growing on me. Very girly-pretty kind of!  I've used copics to colour and distressed the edges. Just have to remember to be careful with distress inks and digi images, they can smudge as you can just see where I've caught a swirl!

Not my usual!

Not my usual colours, pink doesn't really grab me , I'm a bit afraid of it!  Used brown to tone it down a bit, using BG porcelain papers. The image is from Funky kits, one of their new digis. The sketch I have followed is from Just Christmas & Birthday cards. I though I'd also enter it in Cute Card Thursday which is Fairy fantastic, Papertake Weekly which is Pretty Pink, and Totally Gorjuss which is to add dimension. I've added crystal effects to the wings and added a bit of glitter to the dress.

Its raining here, has been almost all day though its not cold. Went to see Denise's new scottish fold kitten...very cute but still a bit stressed after its flight. Poor baby.
Brodie has been lying in the poodle dog beds today....guess he likes their beds more than his own. Very hilarious to see him though, he is far too big!!

Sassy again

The challenge for Stampin for the weekend was a sketch and I used another Sassy Cheryl Digi image. I really like these cuties . Bit late posting this , made it last weekend! Paper is K & Co again, with SU cardstock, ribbon and sentiment, prima pearls and flower from my stash.

Layering

The challenge this week on A Spoon full of sugar is to use lots of layering....well, I don't know how NOT to! The image is a  digi from Sassy Cheryl , coloured with copics. Paper is K & Co and flowers are from my stash. I've used crystal effects on the icing and used SU cardstock, ribbon and sentiment.
Last day of work , then I have six days off! Yahoo! Then I work 4 days and have two weeks off! Two holidays, just what I need. Tho I don't know that there'll be many cards made, I have a dog show to organise, the in-laws are coming to visit, we have a long-term houseguest and I have an unruly bunch of dogs to try and wear out. Maybe some housework might get done....eventually!!LOL!

An oldie

Decided to dig out a gorjuss girl for the Sugar Bowl challenge this time....should have used one of their cute new digi images....too late now!  This card is made following a sketch by Kathy, with the inclusion of distressing.  I'm distressed...the weekend is almost over and its back to work tomorrow! Have used some SU paper and cardstock , flowers and pearls from my stash.

Doodle Dragon Studio

Dustin Pike has a new challenge site running and his first challenge is to create a Love/Valentines card using one of his images. He had a blog hop and sent out a free image to anyone leaving comments and answering a question.  The paper is Bo Bunny I think! I've used SU cardstock and cut the green strip with an EK success punch, and used a SU sentiment and a random heart button from my stash.
Have been at a Dog Agility Ribbon Trial today and Riley showed himself to be as much of a sookie as Vinnie and didn't like the prickles in the grass and all the scary strange dogs watching him. So , no, he didn't finish either of his runs!!! BAH!

Finally!

Started this weeks ago after seeing several versions on various blogs and a tutorial on the scorpal website. I've use Websters Pages to cover , SU cardstock as the base and the fairy is one of Charmed Crafts images. The handles on the drawers I've made using bead caps and dewdrops and some good strong glue!

Double Dutch

I decided to enter a different challenge for a change and found a sketch over at Double Dutch challenge blog to follow. The paper is BG and the image is a sugar nellie (Rory) , coloured with distress inks.
Gemma & Roxy seem to spend a lot of time snuggled up to each other, its so cute.

Hmmmm...

Don't really like this card, too flowery...or something....anyway its my attempt using the sketch for Cute Card Thursday.  The paper is BG wisteria, image is a Sugar Nellie. The sentiment is punched with a Martha Stewart punch.

Its that time of year again and we have the Poingdestre poodles staying, tho this year its just Gemma & Roxy. Alby is too scared of Brodie, he screams like a pig when he sees him, even at a distance! LOL!  Roxy took one look at Brodie and said " BACK OFF" and that was all he neeeded to leave her alone.  She weighs 1.7kg and Brodie is 30kg, and she is BOSS!! She also likes laps, especially Gavin's lap. He sits, she's there (and
Riley too, cos he likes all girls!)  Mr Potatohead wanted to give me a cheesy smile, isn't he handsome? And wee Vinnie posed for me on the paving stones , the wind blowing his ears back, such a serious dude!

New Whatever!

Thought I'd kill a few birds with one card , with my "New" baby card, hopefully the person it is intended for doesn't actually read my blog! LOL! The image is a Joanna Sheen Messy Rabbit " Baby Bunny" ,coloured with copics, the papers are Cosmo Cricket Early Bird, SU Ribbon & card, prima pearls, and peeled paint distress ink. I coated the words and bottle with crystal effects....but BABY has curled a bit! Never mind.  This card is using a sketch from A Spoonful of sugar , which I have flipped, and Stampin for the Weekend which is new beginnings, and Secret Crafter, also new beginnings!

Calendar

Fun, fun, fun....just broke up a dog fight and had to throw out the offending bone causing all the grief!  Poor wee Riles got a scratch on his chest, will have to keep an eye on that. Doggie politics! At least its always obvious what they're fighting over, unlike humans! Riley wont be so quick to jump in and steal Brodie's things now! He was always scared of Bruno and has got very cocky since Bruno died. Now Brodie is boss ( Mr Potatohead cos he's all head at the moment and needs to grow into his body!).

Finally getting some me time in my craft room.   Made a calendar for the Stampin for the weekend challenge, using websters pages, a magnolia stamp, some prima bling, cool raffia stuff I got somewhere, my butterfly punch and handmade organza flower.

AWOL

Yep, I've been missing in action, having had people staying, a new dog moving in, a cat hiding out....no cards made at all. We've had Patrick the cat stashed in my craft room for a few days, gradually introducing him to Brodie and vice versa. Brodie is having to learn he can't chase Patrick...sigh....what a slow process. In the meantime Pat the Cat has been rearranging things in my craft room. He's pulled flowers off things, shredded bits of paper, pulled my ribbon holder apart?????!!! At least he hasn't found the stamp pads and started decorating with his paws!LOL!

Finally got to make a card today, for the Sugar Bowl challenge which is a sketch by Lillian, including your favourite colour. Well, never thought I'd say this but I have a thing for lime green and orange at the moment!  The card was made using BG lime rickey papers, and a sugar nellie image coloured with copics, and prima flower centres.
