Backgrounds

This week the team at Make it Colourful are challenging you to colour your backgrounds whether it be with copics, pencils, chalks , distress inks, whatever!
I've used two Make it Crafty stamps " Peaches of Plenty" and "Crooked Picket Fence" which you can find HERE.   I've coloured these with copics, used the copics again to dot the grass, and for the sky, I've used my long neglected SU chalks which I find cover a large area really easily.
Tilda is Tilda Picking Lilacs which you can find HERE . Magnolia-Licious  is the sponsor of this weeks challenge and guess what...they sell LOTS of Magnolias! LMAO! As if that wasn't sooo obvious!

The paper is MME Stella Rose Mabel. The flowers are Doohickey die, and from my stash and the leaves are from the local florist. The gorgeous swirl is from Make it Crafty, one of Zoe's fab laser-cut chipboard flourishes. I've painted it with a copper paint dabber.

Right, now head on over to see the gorgeous work and amazingly different backgrounds everyone has produced at Make it Colourful.

I'm entering this in Cardmadfairy's Digi Days- Back to nature
Colour create- Pastels
Fresh Brewed- Two or more embellies
Simon Says- Mothers Day or Girlie

Viv! Wow! The first thing that stood out to me is just how smooth your colouring is on Tilda. I LOVE the colour you used on her dress. Numbers please!!!!!! The scene is just fantabulous and I am thrilled to see you use the dots for the grass. I must pull out my chalks again too as you are right in them being able to colour in those large areas much faster (and not waste all our copic ink!!) hugs hun xxxooo
