Yahoo!!!

Wonderful news was waiting for me when I got home from work on Monday. I'm on the DT for Isabella's Sketchbook Challenge !!!!!!
Isabella has some gorgeous images of all kinds. Really worth checking out if you've never been over to see. Take a look here.   The design team is full of talented ladies, so go take a lot at my teamie's gorgeous cards to see what is in store!  We are all so excited to get this up and running!

This is a card I made for this introduction, just cos I had this cutey sitting here waiting to be coloured.  A dog, shopping , the only thing missing is a cuppa coffee.......

In honor of this being the first Design Team for Isabella's Sketchbook, everyone is invited to participate in this week's challenge with ANY Isabella image of their choice AND

the winner will receive SIX FREE IMAGES of their choice

AND

the gorgeous new "I Won" Badge.

Animal Magic Challenge

What could be more magic than a doggie!  Ha!  I have a one-track mind!
This week at Karen's Doodles UK Challenge blog we have a theme of animal magic. Karen has lots of cute animal digis available on her blog here.
I've used some BG Sugared paper I've had forever and cut out some of the flowers to layer over the card. .  (Tracy, you're not allowed to laugh at me cuttting out, you know how much I LOOOOOOVE cutting out fiddly things- NOT!)
This image is called " Maggie & Me-then"

Sugar Time

Thought it was time to enter a Sugarbowl challenge again. Bought this gorgeous paper on Saturday , its Kaisercraft Utopia . I love these colours!
The challenge follows a sketch by Tiets and you need to use punches.  I've punched the flowers, added some Prima swirls, and some dew drops.

Brodie has to be locked inside today as some friends are coming to lay a slab of concrete. I can just imagine how helpful he'd be, stealing tools, walking through the newly laid concrete, trying to bury something in it! ROTFLMAO!

Meljen

The challenge this week at Meljens is " For the little ones"  . I've used sleeping teddy from Meljen's Digis , he's such a cutie! Paper is MME, sentiment is SU an flowers are random & punched.
I'm not happy with Brodie & Riley this morning, they both took off when they got out the gate out at our training grounds. Caught Brodie quickly but Riley decided to be a little shit!  I had to follow him into someones backyard to get him!  He knows he's not flavour  of the day......  :(

Not happy....

Just can't seem to get this one right...aaarrrggh! Just not happy with it.
This is my card for Isabella's challenge which this week is Food! The image is from Isabella's Sketchbook and I've used Kaisercraft Gypsy sisters papers. I've used Rock candy distress stinkles on the icecream and stickles on the plate.   Sentiment and punches are SU.

Sketch time

This weeks challenge over at Sassy Cheryls is to use a sketch.  I've used the cute freebie teddy Cheryl gave us at PCP but you can find her gorgeously cute digis at the Sassy Cheryl store if you want to join in the challenge.  My card is made using SU paper and card , coloured with copics, distress stickled and random flowers & brads. The sentiment is a tag from my Bearly Mine CD.

Monochrome

The theme this week at Karen's Doodles UK challenge blog is to produce a monochrome card, using a Karen's Doodle image. Last time I tried a monochrome theme , my card was hideous....I think its all in the colours and tones you use. Went softer and plainer this time ( lots of purples in my last one...!) and I'm much happier with  this one.
I love this little dog, I guess you could stamp a sentiment on the bone if you wanted! She's called "Puppy & her bone" and she's available from Karens Doodles. I've coloured this cutie with copics.

The paper I have used is Kaisercraft, the ribbon, hardware, sentiment and cardstock is SU.
 I'm entering this in
   Stamp with Fun- animals
  Paper Sundaes - no people

Toby & Buster

I've done a card for the I heart Copics challenge over at PCP , following a sketch by Jana, using the DT cards for inspiration. Several DT members have used spots & stripes so that is what I've done. The paper is MME Wild Asparagus.
The cute little image is from Dustin Pike's new range called Toby & Buster and they are an adorable pair doing lots of fun things together!

Gav went for a dirt bike ride yesterday and made some lunch to take with him. Silly man put it all in his bag, on the deck and walked off.  Next thing I hear this rustle, crackle sound and there is Brodie trying to open the chocolate Mega Nut bar wrapper, after nibbling a bit at the apple and discarding it! Luckily the sandwiches were in a plastic container he couldn't get in to!

This is Gav & Brodie wrestling as per usual!

Boys suck!

OK, its not easy doing boy cards , can't put flowers on, nothing pretty ....so I decided to go DIRTY! Well, distressed anyway, looks kinda dirty! LOL!
This is my card for the Sassy Cheryl Challenge blog where you have to use a Sassy boy and include blue & cream.  Couldn't find the right blue paper then realised I had all sorts of blues on the Bearly Mine CD's I bought last year! Perfect!

Baby!

Good friends from dog training have just had their first 2 legged baby, to join the 4 dogs and 2 cats they have!
I made a card for them using the sketch from A Spoonful of sugar which I've rotated,  and a Joanna Sheen Messy rabbit stamp set. I love this bunny! The paper is Kaisercraft Christmas carnival ( I don't have a lot of pink stuff! ) and I've used glossy accents on the " Baby" and the bottle.

I'm also entering it in MTTC - pearls
                                PTW - cutie pie
                                TS-  crittercard
                                DP - funny animal

Its been a fun week...NOT!  We've been racing around organising judges for our winter agility show and trying to get the schedule into the gazette on time only to find the club secretary hasn't booked the indoor venue and someone else has got it! EEEEEK! We're allocated a weekend by the Kennel club so we can't change it easily, then the judges might not be available at a different time....  and at that time of the year no-one wants to compete outside in case its a horrendous weekend. I give up!

Things with Wings!

Challenge 6 already! Over at Karen's Doodles UK this week the challenge is to make a card with wings!  I've used Karen's "Fairy Fun" for this card and as always coloured her with copics. You can't see it very well in this pic but I've Rock Candy Dristress stickles on her wings and on the wings of the punched butterflies!  I love this stuff!
The ribbon is threaded through a spellbinders border die cut. The paper is BG Lime Rickey. Very busy! LOL!
 I'm entering this in
The Creative Cottage - things with wings
 Stampavie & More- Butterflies
Flutter by Wednesday - open just include butterfly or fairy

Great day for gardening...so instead I'm sitting inside colouring in!

Sassy Girl

What a beautiful Autumn day! Its been warm, no wind...thought I'd better get out and tidy the garden a bit . Unfortunately Patrick ( ginger cat) decided to help so now I have little scratches all over my arms!
This weeks challenge over at Sassy Cheryls is to use a girlie Sassy image and ribbon.  Think this is girlie enough? The paper and chipboard flower are BG lemonade, ribbon and card is SU and of course the cute image is a Sassy Cheryl digi, coloured with copics.
I'm also entering this in Stampin for the Weekend challenge- ribbons & bows.

I went to Palmerston North yesterday to have lunch with my sister and go shopping , and for once we were both rather restrained and neither of us bought shoes!  I did find this cool material tho, which I just had to buy. I've told Gav he's going to get matching shirts and shorts which he has to wear when he's driving the Kombi....as long as I'm not with him! Snicker!   OK....maybe I just might make cushion covers for the Kombi....

The paper is BG Green at heart again, the image a Meljen digi coloured with copics. The Sentiment is a Whimsy stamp, the flowers are SU Felt Fusion.
