I'm sure these are a bit harder, you can't bling & pretty these cards up , so I always like to throw in the distressing and distress inks. Makes them more manly right? Messy? Rough? LOL!
This weeks challenge at Isabellas Sketchbook is to make a card honouring fathers. Our fathers day in NZ isn't till September but it never hurts to be prepared! 
I've used Kaisercraft Rewind paper, buzz & bloom chipboard lettering, SU cardstock, EK success border punch and some twine from my stash. This cute digi image from Isabella's Sketchbook is coloured with copics.

Loving the papers and your colouring is fab! I actually LIKE making guy cards once in a while, it's a good purging process for embellishment addiction!

Oh this is brilliant and I love the idea of distressing I always find it hard not to add bling that is why I find male cards so hard but you have made it look easy :D

Very cool Mans card Viv, love the ditressed look to it.
And yes I did get the pink thing from my Mum.... although as a kid and a teenager I HATED it.lol. Remind me to show you a pic of my monstrousity of a grad dress one day.... you can tell my Mum LOVES pink.
