Anything Baby

Anything Baby Goes! is the Stampin for the weekend challenge this week, and I really don't have any baby stamps! So , a birthday card it is. Image is one from Denise, paper is BG two scoops and card stock is SU.

 And so much for beautiful spring days, just got home from our walkies and its pouring down. Abbie is out in the rain chewing on her pigs ear.   She likes to roll in the wet grass. Riley looks out at the rain and heads straight for our bed, no way does he wanna get wet! At least the wild wind of last night has died down.

Spring!

Yay! Spring really is here! Its a beautiful day outside, I'm inspired to get out into the garden...but there are so many things to do! 

 This card I've made for the Spoonful of sugar challenge. The image is a Manga,  and my backing papers are off the Bearly Mine Designs CDs I received from Donna this week. There are so many gorgeous designs, I didn't know where to start!

 The flowers I've cut with my retro punch and stamped with swirls for a different effect. 

Pastels & Daisies

Pastels are not my usual choice of colour tones but I think it looks OK?!! . Unfortunately my good camera is still away on holiday and I really can't get a decent photo of this card with this little camera. Nevermind.

Papers are BG wisteria, the image is a Doodle Palace digistamp (coloured with copics) and the card is for their challenge this week. Didn't have any daisies , so made my own! Stamped the swirl onto acetate and stuck it on over the papers.

Someone's alarm is going over the back fence... Riley is out there shouting at it.....sigh...time to shut the door and keep him inside I think. He's so much cuter when he is snuggled and cuddling around my neck!

OK its official, I've made the design team for Doodle palace! !!  Woohooo!  The next few months should be fun, playing with their very cute digistamps . Thanks to Dee and Robin for picking me, I can't wait to get started!

Busy Boy

Riley is toy crazy! Just turned around from the computer to see what he has been up to and he is off looking for another toy...or shoe... to add to his collection around his little couch! One of the toys was actually on a shelf, to be wrapped up as a present for someone ( that's the one with a half chewed tag still on it!LOL!) but he found it. My shoes, he doesn't chew them, just likes to wrestle them, rip open any velcro fastenings , and stuff small fluffy toys into them so when I put a shoe on, its full of fluffy something!

Pink & Grey

This was an unusual colour combo for me, but am quite happy with the results . This is for the Stampin for the weekend challenge. Used one of my new Manga kids , coloured with copics and Atyou Spica glitter pens, tho you can't see the glitter in this photo, had to use the crappy camera again!  The flower is sprayed with tattered rose distress ink and perfect pearls, the ends touched up with copics.  

Primary Colours

OK, I've decided primary colours are not really me, I like earthy colours best.  I have used BG June bug ( definitely not my fav BG papers!LOL!) in this Doodle Palace challenge, using Red, Blue and yellow . Hey Denise...this challenge has your name on it!   You're a primary girl!  The image is a Doodle palace one, isn't she cute? Have used random ribbon, buttons and flowers.. sentiment is SU and cardstock is SU also.

 You'll have to excuse the pic, used my DH's camera and its nowhere near as good as mine. I so kindly lent my camera to a friend for family pics this weekend.

Manga kids

Finally got around to using my new stamps from Sugar Nellie. This card is for the Sugar Bowl challenge. Love these images....tho we wont talk about what Trace did to one of them...LOL! The paper is BG lemonade and the sketch included handmade flowers which I have punched and stamped and finished with dew drops .

Its a beautiful spring day here and I want to get outside for some sunshine, but I want to play with my new stamps...wonder which one will win!!! Have finished reading all the Sookie Stackhouse books so that is a distraction gone for now.

Days Gone By!

Have had withdrawals over the weekend. No cards or scrapbooking, no Abbie, Riley or Patrick( Vinnie came away with us) .... a great welcome from the dogs and a huge telling off from the cat when we got home. I think Patrick misses not having anyone to have a conversation with!  I dropped Abbie & Riley at Marises Friday afternoon, and she tells me Abbie met her at the gate, insisted on getting in her car and being driven up her driveway! Poor girl must've thought she was coming home!

  Finished a card tonight for Stampin for the Weekend and the theme was days gone by ie vintage style.  To me that mean distressing! So here is a sugar nellie image, copic coloured then distressed and I've used random papers , lace , flowers and hardware! 

Xmas cards

Finally finished my 7 xmas cards for the Crafty Tart card swap. I've done two variations of the same card ( cos I got sick of cutting out Santa !LOL!) , using the image Trace sent out to us all.I've used my new Martha Stewart icicle punch and added stickles.  Cut out my snowflakes with spellbinders. Paper is from the SU mini, love the colour combo.

Off to the in-laws for the weekend. Abbie & Riley are off to stay at Hotel Poingdestre. Hope Riley behaves!!  Looks like Gemma Poingdestre is having babies, Riley might be a daddy next month.....watch this space!

Guest Designer

 Woohoo! I'm guest designer this week for Doodle Palace where they have some supercute digital images!  My challenge for them this week is a card with blue & green and some bling. You don't have to use one of their images, any will do, so why not join me this week!

 Dee & Robin are also calling for design team members, a four month stretch, 3 cards a month... not too hard surely...why dontcha give it a go? Come on you lot....!!!!

 My card is SU cardstock, Doodle Palace image coloured with copics, cosmo cricket paper and random flowers with my own bling dangle.

Where are the days going?

Haven't acheived much in the last week and we're away this weekend so I better get my A into G tomorrow and finish some stuff.   Managed a card last night for Stampin for the weekend but then got called to my book....

  This card is following a cool sketch by Vicki and I used my fav at the mo, cosmo cricket papers. The image is one of Tracy's, Ta Trace!  coloured with copics. Cardstock, sentiment is SU, flowers are Prima. 

  My altered card box got placed in the Top 5 for Stampin For The Weekend last week. Thanks so much guys!  Your challenges are fun.

Cute & Unusual

This week  Doodle Palace's challenge is to include something cute & unusual.  What could be cuter than a Tilda with a puddy tat? Well, a doggie would be but this is what I grabbed! LOL!  The unusual bit is the scraps of embossed metal from Ten Second Studio that I slapped on instead of flowers.  All done in a rush, have had a busy weekend clipping poodles and running poodles at a ribbon trial. Naughty Riley....well... he had to go back on lead to finish a course as he just wanted to blat around visiting everyone!

Another week gone and not much acheived...but then I have been reading alot!  Finished my page for the crafty tart challenge which was to use the inspiration from a black & white advertisement.  I had no choice but to use these photos I've had tucked away for 11 years, just waiting for the right moment!LOl!  My beautiful babies when they were 5 months old and sooooo cute and fluffy.

Card Box

Have had this box ready to cover for ages so was inspired to cover it for the Stampin for the weekend challenge . Have covered it with paper I've had for years, don't even know what it is! Ribbons are SU, image is a GG coloured with copics, flowers are random.   I've been keeping cards in it, now I don't have to hide it! 

Cute Doggies

Got some cute dog images from Doodle Palace and they were perfect for this week's challenge which was animals and fibres.  Haven't made any dog cards for ages so this was fun.

Paper is Kaisercraft, card and sentiment  is SU and the paw charm is from Spotlight.  Puppy  is coloured with copics.

Crafty Tart

My crafty Tart challenge page this week is using some pics of my niece  Holly  taken at xmas some years ago, ( I think she is about 12 now!!) as I wanted some girly cute pics and don't seem to have many of those! LOL!  (Abbie isn't really a pink kinda dog!)

 We had to use the cover of the new Innovations mag for inspiration so I slapped all this together and spread sequins all over the floor . 

 Now, I have a couple of days, time to make some cards!
